Wat Inthakin is an old temple with a large brick chedi south of the three Kings monument. It doesn't contain a building, but rather houses a modern roof to cover the ancient Buddha images, specifically Luang Phor Khao. It was once the location of the city pillar, known as Sao Inthakhin. Historically known as Wat Sadue Mueang the temple was abandoned as was the city during the Burmese occupation in 1775. On the west side of the chedi in a niche are the remains of a standing Buddha image, of which only the feet and the lower half of the body can be seen. There are efforts under way to restore this temple and monks oversee the donation of money.
