Figure 3.3 illustrates the interrelationship of units and resource groups within the traditional school structure to the central human resources unit. Each individual unit or group has an effect upon the ability of the others to reach their objectives. The success of the human resources unit in realizing its mission also depends upon the support of other. Similarly, the success of each unit or group depends in part on the effectiveness of the central unit. In this sense, the human resources unit is a part of the school district's systems management.
