2.2. Antagonist
The antagonist yeast was isolated from the surface of strawberries and identified as H. uvarum based on the similarity analysis of its morphologies, physiological–biochemical characteristics and 26S rDNA D1/D2 domain sequence (GenBank accession number: JX125041). The yeast was cultured in 250mL Erlenmeyer flasks with 100mL potato dextrose (PDB, 200mL extract of boiled potatoes,20g dextrose in 1000mL distilled water)on a gyratory shaker at 180rmin−1, 28 ◦C for 24h. The yeast cells were acquired by centrifuging at 6000×g for 15min(at4◦C)and then re-suspended in sterile distilled water. The yeast concentrations were adjusted as needed for different experiments using a hemacytometer.
