Leadership is a process of social influence, which maximizes the effort of others, towards
the achievement of a goal.
A leader is a credible person who can alters one's thoughts, feelings or actions in a
manner that enlists others to pursue the accomplishment of a common goal.
Leadership is a journey. It requires ample experiences that can help developing the
skills and the leadership capability. Even born to be a leader, you also need to learn more,
and gain as much experience as possible, because no matter how good you are, you need
to put all of your knowledge into practice, to help others.
Some traits do not change regardless of the situations. However, leadership needs to
be frequently sharpened in order to adjust to the environmental surroundings.
Leadership can be variable too. When you stay in different industries or cultures, the
way you manage depends on the situational variables. Also, the size of your team, 5
people and 500 people, how can you make everything under control? Therefore, only
traits are not enough, we need to learn and gain experiences to a great depth, and that’s
why leadership is the combination of Made and Born. This is also one of the reasons we
study leadership, we might not have born to be a leader, but we are simply trying to
become better
