RESULTS: There were 25 osteoarthritis patients, who joined full course in this study, 3 men and 32 women (12% and 88%), averaged-age 58.96 years old (range 51-80 years). After exercise; average KOOS about pain, symptoms, ADL and QOL subscale showed improvement but function in sport and recreation subscale were nearly same as before exercise. Only pain subscale showed significantly different between before and after exercise (p=0.001).
CONCLUSIONS: Regular simple home based exercise for 4 weeks can improve pain scale in the patients with knee osteoarthritis.
