4.4. Implications for forest management
The uncertain environment in which forest managers are expected to make decisions highlights the need for more accurate regional climate projections and forest models (Yousefpour et al., 2013). Our reference-climate simulations indicated that inter-model and inter-assumption variability of simulated aboveground C was low up to a stand age of ca. 100 years. The variability of changes in the aboveground C induced by climate change was ca. +1–6% of the reference values at a stand age of 100 years. This suggests that in
