Aeronautical Engineer, Jenan Kazim has been working on perfecting the design of the KAZbrella, for over 10 years to ensure he does not bring another gimmicky umbrella to the market.
The Inside Out KAZbrella is the long awaited innovation which solves the problems of the conventional umbrella. With clever and precise engineering and numerous patented features, it revolutionised the way the umbrella opens and closes. Folding inside out, the wetside of the canopy is enclosed leaving a dry canopy to handle. Now you have a drip free umbrella!
By maintaining the curvature and canopy tension of the original umbrella design, the KAZbrella succeeds in retaining all the benefits of existing umbrellas. With many inventive features hidden away, the user can operate the umbrella in a conventional manner.
The creation of this idea was supported by access to 3D modeling and 3D printing technology. Kazim is an engineer and that interest in precision is what allows the newly envisioned umbrella to operate so smoothly. By utilizing 3D printing to prototype and refine and test again, Kazim was able to create parts with the type of precision necessary in order to quickly evaluate and make necessary adjustments. With intelligent, quality design, this new umbrella is a streamlined work of engineering based on mathematics and precision. The KAZbrella is made with a breathable fabric as well as a hydrophobic coating designed to allow raindrops to roll right off.
Having a successful career as an aeronautical and offshore engineer, Jenan has applied his knowledge to his invention. Precise engineering and mathematical equations have been used to ensure the KAZbrella outperforms a conventional umbrella whilst keeping its familiar aesthetics and usability. This has not yet been achieved by any other umbrella designer.
