Nesting success was calculated dividing the number of nests by the
number of nesting activities. Hatching success was calculated dividing
the sum of the number of shells belonging to hatched eggs and the number of hatched turtles from the nest during exhumation by the initial
clutch size. Emergence success was calculated dividing the number of
shells belonging to hatched eggs that were retrieved during exhumation by the initial clutch size. The impossibility of evaluating a hypothetical
predation of hatchlings in the nests could be causing an overestimation
of emergence success.
