Prepare three or four envelopes. One is for 5 points, 10 points, 15 points, and 20 points, respectively. Then put strips of paper in the envelopes. The strips have a question on them: 1 quesnon for each student. The 5 points envelope has easy questions: True/False sentences. The 10 points envelope has Yes/No questions. The 15 points envelope has intermediate to difficult questions: Who, Whar, When, Where. The 20 points quesoons are difficult why. 1. Distribute a copy of the reading selection to each student. Explain that they will answer questions after the reading. Explain the types of question and how much each type counts for. 2 Tell the students to read it careful. If he or she answers the question correctly, that team gets the points for the question. If the answer is wrong, that team gets minus points.
