These deliveries hang in stores for the longest span of time, so the clothes set the tone for what will be hot in the streets this year. There were retail-friendly, buy-now-wear-now basics, but designers didn't stint on fresh ideas to take us into the Spring '14 shows in September. Based on the latest lineups, we're anticipating the rise of low-slung baggy trousers, graphic lace, nouveau-hippie macramé looks, and miniskirts. Other trends that made waves this season included Deauville-tinged nautical moments, modest crop tops, and vibrant-colored suede.
