In Vietnam, agricultural marketing system is still not developed. Therefore farmers are usually assuming most part of agricultural marketing and their products are mainly for local consumption. This system tends to cause production surplus, and makes the market price unstable. In Me Linh village (Vinh Phuc province), on 1997 the flower market aimed for more efficient flower distribution was formatted. The aim of this paper is, based on the field research in Me Linh village, to analyze the impact of flower shipping market establishment to production area. Through the research, these following results are indicated. First, Me Linh flower market is working as a shipping market located at production area, and makes distribution of flower produced in this village more stable. By offering a place for transaction to wholesaler, the market helps their business easily, and encourages marketing for more wide area. Second, Me Linh flower market provides market information for producer and contributes to save labor of farm household for marketing. The labor saved by the establishment of this market is concentrating on production so that after the formation of Me Linh flower market, the flower production area per household farm household economy was improved. Me Linh flower market plays an important role to form the flower for its development.
