This is an experimental pilot program which ran from June 1st to July 25th, 2016 in the Faculty of Arts and Architecture at RMUTL University (Jed Yod Campus). We worked with 21 art and architecture professors. I met with each one of these professors at least once per week for at least one hour per session. Together we began to address the issues which hindered them from being able to teach their subjects in English to groups of Thai students with low levels of English. Each professor had different strengths and weaknesses and so I had to work with them in different ways. However, the goal was the same for each of the professors: To be able to communicate the content of their subject both to EFL Thai students as well as to foreign exchange students. Our main tool was their powerpoint presentations which they usually already had prepared and used, albeit in Thai. Work centered around translating, editing, and rewriting the powerpoint presentation in order to prepare the professor to present the first 20 minutes of his introductory week by mid-August.
