Environmental Policy Integrated Climate (EPIC) Model is a comprehensive model capable of simulating the soil with plants and processes to respond to the climate. EPIC model uses one crop growth routine and a unified approach to simulate all crops, which facilitate the development of a consistent and comparable calibration procedure for a range of crops. It contains most of the major process that occurs in the soil-water-atmosphere-management system (Xiong et al., 2014). EPIC simulates soil erosion losses from wind erosion, soil carbon sequestration, climate change impacts on crop yield. EPIC has been used to simulate the impact of disaster on crop, crop-water relations and drought risk investigated impacts of drought (Yin et al., 2014).
