If you've entered into a two-year Service Agreement and choose to terminate or cancel your service before your contract ends, you will be charged an early termination fee of up to $350/line for Advanced Devices & up to $200/line for all other devices. Unpaid balances with Sprint, including early termination fees, may be sent to a collection agency for further collection action and reported to the national credit bureaus.No early termination fee applies for cancellations in compliance with Sprint's Return Policy.
Please note:
If you paid full price for your device, and did not enter into a long term service agreement, you will not be responsible for an Early Termination Fee for that device.
If you are a customer in Sprint's Monthly Installments program, you are required to sign a month to month Service Agreement, but the customer will not be subject to a plan term commitment or ETF. Note: Monthly Installments customers who cancel service prior to the completion of the installment agreement will be required to pay the remaining balance on the applicable device.
If you are a Sprint Prepaid customer, you will not be responsible for an Early Termination Fee; however, any funds deposited into a Sprint Prepaid account will not be refunded and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.

The early termination fee is prorated and is calculated by taking the months remaining on your Service Agreement times $20 for Advanced Devices, with a maximum of $350, and minimum of $100. For all other devices, the prorated ETF is calculated by taking the months remaining times $10 with a maximum of $200 and minimum of $50.*

If you are cancelling multiple lines on your account, calculate the remaining number of months on each line, locate the corresponding amounts and add them together to reach your total. Also, if you purchased a tablet prior to 11/11/2012, you may be subject to an ETF of up to $350 per line.
