In the second activity, namely “Getting introduced with magnet”, children were raced with each other in a group by using magnet adhered to metal cars. In order to move the cars, they had to use another magnet in reverse order. By doing these they observed that magnets push each other if the poles are the same, they catch each other if the poles are the reverse. At the end of the races in-group, another race containing the winners of the groups was realized. In the pre-evaluation form, children were asked to sign the objects that are catchable by the magnet, and in the final evaluation they were asked to identify the way in a labyrinth passing through the objects catchable by the magnet.
