Responsibilities include:

Supervise all cartographic, printing, plotting and graphic work and quality control of finished work.
Supervise all exploration data storage, i.e. Exploration Library, information system and Exploration data center in Bangkok.
Establish and maintain standards, formats, styles, and quality of all work.
Organize, archive and maintain all cartographic and graphic materials, originals and films including maps, artwork, wireline logs and seismic sections, computer based filing system, exploration reports and documents.
Monitor supplies usage, other equipment and materials for routine cartographic use, printing, plotting, scanning, map reproduction work and warehousing work.
Maintain cartographic webpage up-to-date.
Establish, maintain and improve e-Library system for Exploration Library.
Control inventory and maintain all data in good condition.
Contact and supervise external contractors in all printing and duplicating materials for Chevron.
Be responsible for cartographic data management standards and software introduction and evaluation processes.
Manage and ensure work quality of cartography and Exploration library groups.
This Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production job function requires compliance to all applicable Laws, Regulations, Policies and Standards, along with participation and accountability for the implementation and results of the Good Operations, Health-Environment-Safety (GO-HES) Management Systems, consistent with the stipulated duties and responsibilities.
The GO-HES Role and Responsibilities for this position, along with the required GO-HES Personal Performance Standards are stipulated in the Management Roles section of the Management Guide : Good Operations, Health-Environment-Safety Manual; Volume I (Policies and Standards), these will form a component of the annual performance appraisal for this position.

Qualifications:

Applicant should have a good background in science or geographical mapping, including a 4 year degree, with related experience in computer science, geography or drafting is preferred.
Must be proficient in the use of standard office software tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ArcGIS Desktop.
Good leadership, strong teamwork and English communication skills are required.
Must be willing to learn new software/tools and be able to utilize/apply as appropriate.
