Taxiway markings include taxiway edge markings, taxiways centerline markings, runway holding position markings.
- Taxiway edge markings use to indentify the edge of taxiway. and help to separate the taxiway from a pavement. It is continuous double yellow line marking.
- Taxiway centerline markings: it is single solid line. Providing visual guidance to permit taxiing along a designated path.
- Runway holding position markings: consist of a set of four lines, 2 solid lines and 2 dashed lines. The dashed lines are located on the runway side and the solid lines located on the taxiway side. It helps to define the boundary between entrance, exit and bypass taxiways and the runways. The aircraft cannot cross over the hold line unless get permission from air traffic controller, as shown in figure 6.
