Over the last two decades, there has been an increasing concern of consumers regarding the safety, quality of animalproducts and environmental issues. Therefore, the purpose of using feed additives is to improve the digestive and productionefficiency by lowering the prevalence of pathogens and by reducing the impact of livestock on the environment (Yirga, 2015).An effective approach to meet these purposes is to use probiotics which may be an alternative to chemotherapeutics andpharmaceuticals and can act either singly or in combination to beneficially affect the host and its performance in multipleways such as:
