When you installed the trial version, did you experience any issues creating and editing, then publishing projects with the trial? Did these issues only begin once you purchased a licensed copy or input a licensing code?

When you installed Captivate on your PC, was there anything unusual about the install? E.g. Are you on a corporate network where they don't allow you to write to your own C drive or have your My Documents folder located on a remote LAN or virtual server?

Your supplied system specs look adequate to run Captivate. So any kind of information you can provide about features of your IT environment setup would be helpful. In most cases like this that I have observed on the forums, the cause has usually turned out to be something about the local installation or setup that was upsetting Captivate.
