To evaluate effects of compost oxygen concentration, nitrogen
content and moisture content on organic micro-pollutant transformation,
a set of bench-scale measurements were conducted.
Compost material for these experiments was collected at Komtek
following the approach of Sadef et al. (2014a). This material had
a water content of 51 ± 2% by weight, a volatile solids (VS) content
of 58 ± 2% of dry compost mass and a nitrogen content of
1.08 mg g dry matter1. Four different treatments with respect to
oxygen, nitrogen and moisture content were considered.
