Mae Ram Phung Beach is white sandy beach on the mainland. Mae Ram Phung beach is the longest beach on the eastern side of Rayong. The beach is slightly inclined and is situated in Khao Laem Ya-Koh Samet National Park. Entry to the Park costs 20 baht. There are some hiking trails, but the highest point of the headland is reserved for the Thai military. Generally, the beach is cleaner and less crowded toward the western end. Most of the accommodations are in the mid-price range, and there is the usual assortment of breezy seaside eateries and souvenir shops. The beach is 12 kilometres long of sandy beach and enclosed by a 10 kilometres stretch of seaside road has made it an ideal place for holiday making. The beach is about 6 kms from Ban Phe, around 9 kms from the hi-way no. 2 and about 500 metres from the park headquarter. The beach is 11 kilometers from Rayong Town and 3 kilometers from Rayong Resort, hugged by a road that runs for 10 kilometers with a small fisherman's village called "Ban Kon Ao" at one end. The beach is clean with gentle slopes suitable for swimming. On the shore are several bungalows.
