At the back of the hall is the Bussabok Mala Maha Chakraphat Phiman Throne (พระที่นั่งบุษบกมาลามหาจักรพรรดิพิมาน; rtgs: Butsabok Mala Maha Chakkraphat Phiman), flanked by two golden seven tiered umbrellas. The golden throne is shaped like a boat with a spired pavilion in the middle. This elevated pavilion represents Mount Meru, the centre of Buddhist and Hindu cosmology.[30] The throne is decorated with coloured enamels and stones as well as deva and garuda figures.
