Separation of mixtures sucrose–KCl and sucrose–
betaine were carried out on the SMB unit. The tests are
very time-consuming with regard to the necessity to
achieve steady-state and require analysis of a large
amount of samples. Two series of experiments were
done during separation of mixtures sucrose–KCl and
sucrose–betaine when the retention times were deter-mined in advance. An example of the course of the
separation of mixture sucrose–KCl is displayed on
