Fire completely destroyed a 100-million-baht Thai-style wooden house being decorated before being opened as a tourist attraction, in Pattaya's Bang Lamung district on Friday morning.
At least 10 fire trucks and crews were deployed to battle the blaze at Ban Phayamai in tambon Nong Phreu after the fire started about 10am, police said on Friday.
100 MILLION BAHT HOUSE COMPLETELY BURNED DOWN
Flames spread quickly through the wooden structure and firemen took several hours to bring it under control.
The large wooden house covering 600 square wah, or 1.5 rai, was built of teak (teakwood) and other precious woods, and was completely burned down.

Fire completely destroyed a 100-million-baht Thai-style wooden house being decorated before being opened as a tourist attraction, in Pattaya's Bang Lamung district on Friday morning.
At least 10 fire trucks and crews were deployed to battle the blaze at Ban Phayamai in tambon Nong Phreu after the fire started about 10am, police said on Friday.

The large wooden house covering 600 square wah, or 1.5 rai, was built of teak (teakwood) and other precious woods, and was completely burned down.
The house was reportedly under the care of Khunthong Ou-ngern, a well-known businessman in Pattaya.
Mr Khunthong had yet to make any comment.
The huge teak house reportedly cost about 100 million baht to build.
