Close out reports (continued)
Data gathering for the close out report needs to be approached in a positive manner so staff concerned understand the data collected will not be used against them
The principal issues that need to be reviewed include,
Business objectives – were they achieved or not?
Benefits – identification of the benefits that arose from project participation and their prioritisation for future use
Outstanding problem issues – identification of matters that have become problems – this will aid learning for future projects
Lessons learned – clear identification of issues that need to be addressed by the organisation for future projects
