The study showed that the type of substrate is a crucial factor inthe cell mass cultivation and product formation by several fungalstrains. Also, controlling the pH of the broth media in the fermenterthroughout incubation time is crucial. In our study using molassesas substrate increased the cell mass cultivation and proteinproduction than using sucrose. Controlling the pH at 3throughoutthe incubation period also, increased the cell mass cultivation andprotein production as compared with the uncontrolled growthmedia pH.
