The band intensity of myosin heavy chain (MHC) was not
much noticeable among the protein from the control, NaCl alone,
glycine þ NaCl, proline þ NaCl whereas those band intensity of the
sample from lysine þ NaCl was higher and those of arginine þ NaCl
was comparative to the sample treated with STPP þ NaCl. The results
suggested that the use of arginine could lower the degradation
of MHC comparatively to the use of STPP
