The results reported here suggest that
gibberellic acid, irrespective of seed m.c. and
exposure to subzero temperatures, had a positive
effect on germination and also reduced
average germination time. Depending on the
seed lot, dehydration improved but did not
accelerate germination in water or had no
effect on seed germination. Exposure to subzero
temperatures promoted seed germination.
