In this work, RH was used as a cheap silica ource. A solvent extraction process together with the sol-gel technique was employed to prepare spherical RH silica nanoparticles without using templates or surffactants. No calcination was required in this preparation. the synthesized nanosilica was characterized by fourier transform infrared specroscopy (FTIR), powder X-ray Diffractometry (XRD), Nitrogen sorption analysis and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM)
