Abstract
This research is Descriptive Study which is to study attitudes of people in Thai society about homosexual. We used a sample of students of Faculty of Humanities and Social sciences in bachelor's degree for 100 people and used a questionnaire to collect data.
The results of general information research in Faculty of Humanities and Social sciences, Khon Kaen University. We've found that the majority of students are female (75.5 percent) and the majority of students are sophomore here (74.6 percent).
The results of how student think of homosexual. We've found that most of the students do not have problem with homosexual friends (88.5 percent) and think that homosexual is not a problem for Thai society (95.8 percent). The information about legislation which accepts the person's to register a marriage of the same gender; the majority of the samples agree (60.3 percent). In addition, to reveal their homosexuality to the community, they choose to reveal their identity (70.2 percent).
Therefore, you can see that most people in Thai society have accepted the homosexual because Thai people have a good attitude towards these genders and give them a chance to prove themselves. In present, Thai society is trying to give opportunities to homosexual people even more. That helps them to find their space in society to reveal their identity.
