Layered calcium phosphate was intercalated using m-aminobenzoic acid and p-aminobenzoic acid, originating materials named CaP/MABA and CaP/PABA. The products were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry and scanning electron microscopy. The amount of attached amino groups surfaces were 14.78 and 7.58 mmol·g−1 for CaP/MABA and CaP/PABA, respectively. Suspended intercalated phosphate ad- sorbed copper cation from ethanolic solution at liquid/solid interface.
