Brake: Apart from the brake pedal module described below, the designed system is a diagonal type disc brake for all wheels. There are two separated master cylinders for safety reason with corresponding brake fluid reservoirs. This conforms to the TSAE rules of inspection. The brake pressure in each master cylinder was divided in to front-to-rear ratio of 60:40. All rotors and calipers were from Brembo with the disc diameter of 10 inches. The diagonal arrangement for the first master cylinder was of front right and rear left while the other was of front left and rear right. A pair of the front wheel calipers was 6 pots and that of the rear wheel calipers was 4 pots. The brake fluid used was DOT 4 standard to withstand with temperatures occurred during racing.
