This study, the correlation between Niño SST index (red) and principal component time series of seasonal (green) shows figure 4 for each of the seasonal and the correlation coefficient bet2ween them is shown in table1. The value is negative for all seasons, because a high SST anomaly gives a low rainfall anomaly, and a low SST anomaly gives a high rainfall anomaly. With most negative relationships between MAM season with Niño 3.4 is -0.34984. Values estimated to be significant at p < 0.05 are bolded, those at p < 0.01 are also underlined by Student’s t-test.
