Richards (1998 : 219-240) proposes that listening comprehension is
formed by two important factors. Message Factors are consisted both knowledge of
the target language syntax and the real world knowledge. Another factor, Medium
Factors, include clausal basic of speech, pausing, rate of delivery, rhythm and stress,
information content and interaction between speaker and listeners
. Pierce (1988 : 13) proposes that listening is the active process which
receives and creates from the utterance depends on whether the listeners recognize the
phonetics and culture of the language. In the same way, if the listener is good at this
knowledge, the ability of understanding spoken language is good too.
