“Follow me, baby, I’ll give you what you want.”
The moment Mako laid eyes on the babe with the green hair, he knew he had to have her. It was so bizarre. No woman he had ever met would dye their hair a crazy color like that and attend a formal event. Honestly, most women probably couldn’t pull it off, but she could. All night long, Mako’s eye’s were glued to the woman. With her draping, colorful hair and blood-red dress, she stood out against the entire room. When the green haired gal stepped outside, Mako followed after her. In the black of night, her dress seemed to glow. The field was illuminated in crimson light, but Mako continued to follow her through the field, until she stopped. Mako froze as the woman turned around, and looked directly into his eyes. Next she opened her mouth, and began a series of harmonics. Mako found his body moving forward on its own, and he approached the girl. The force pulling his body was so great that it seemed to rip him from his feet, and something fell with a thud behind him. In control once again, Mako looked to his rear, and saw his own body, lifeless on the ground. His hands were transparent and formless. Another thud came from in front of him, and he jerked around to see the woman had fallen to the ground, and a pair of black arms emerged from her chest. The hands grabbed the earth and lifted, bringing the shadowed figure of a black man from inside of the teal haired woman. The man walked past Mako the spirit, and jumped on top of Mako the corpse, sliding right through him. Mako’s body then stood, grinned, and walked back towards the party. The Disembodied Mako floated, shocked, until something twinkled in his eye. Mako floated towards the now vacant body of the woman in the red dress.
