The increasing adoption of mobile technologies have contributed to a fast growth in mobile learning (mlearning)
over the past few years with a global market for m-learning services expected to grow from $3.2 billion in
2010 to $9.1 billion by 2015 (Ambient Insight, 2011). At the same time there has been a fast growth of multimedia
services, with mobile video being estimated to increase 16-fold between 2012 and 2017, and to reach 66% of the
global mobile Internet traffic by 2017 (Cisco Systems, Inc., 2013).
