Dear Friend,
On Monday, Americans will mark the life and legacy of an American hero.
Martin Luther King Jr. not only devoted his life to building a more just society, he challenged us to build a better world. To honor his legacy, thousands of Americans will join President Obama and his family in service projects to improve our communities.
We know many of you work as volunteers and have undertaken projects to give back to your community. We want to hear about them! Email us about your volunteer activities or service projects you have started. We will highlight them on the YSEALI Facebook page. Be sure to include photos.
Do you have an idea for a new service project? Take advantage of these upcoming opportunities to turn your idea into a reality:
Through the Seeds for the Future grants competition, you could win grant money for a project to promote civic engagement, education, economic development or environmental protection.
The YSEALI Professional Fellows and Academic Fellows programs bring you to the United States to learn about how to make a difference on issues important to you.
Meet your ASEAN peers and develop your project ideas together at the YSEALI Generation Regional Exchanges in the 10 ASEAN countries.
Make an impact in your community and the region through YSEALI. Act today!
Sincerely,
Team YSEALI
