The interaction between culture medium andIAA hormone on root number was significant at0.05 probability level (Table 2). The means com-parison of the interaction between culture me-dium and IAA hormone on root number showedthat the culture medium of MS 1.2 and IAA con-centration of 1.5 mg/l with a mean root numberof 3.5 had the highest effect on rooting (Fig. 5).The interaction between culture medium and IBAhormone on rooting percentage was significant at0.01 probability level (Table 2). Based on Dun-can Test, MS 1.2 culture medium and IBA con-centration of 1 mg/l had the highest inductiveeffect on rooting percentage with an average val-ue of 29% (Fig. 6). Also, the interaction of cul-ture medium in IBA and IAA hormones on root-ing percentage showed significant differences at0.05 probability level (Table 2). Means compari on of the interaction of culture medium in IBAand IAA hormones on rooting percentage showedthat MS 1.2 culture medium and IBA concentra-tion of 1 mg/l and IAA concentration of 1.5 mg/lhad the highest inductive effect on rooting withan average value of 40% (Fig. 7). Also, Xing et al.(2010) recommended MS 1.2 culture mediumand IBA hormone concentration of 2.5-5 mmolfor rooting in rose culture medium.
