Pearson’s correlation coefficients of total phenolic compounds,carotenoids, tocopherols, phytosterols, unsaturated and saturatedfatty acids versus DPPH•and oxidative stability of the lipid fractionsstudied are presented in Table 6.The pulp oil presented significant correlations betweentotal phenolics (0.78), tocopherols (−0.82) and phytosterols(−0.97) × DPPH•. Concerning the seed oil, significant correlationswere found between bioactive substances × DPPH•. Moreover, thecorrelation between saturated and unsaturated fatty acids × DPPH•and oxidative stability for the oil seed were significant
