Using the matched image coordinates of the homologous points
in the pre-seismic IKONOS stereo images, the 3D ground coordinates
of these points with improved accuracy in the object space
are obtained employing the RPC bundle adjustment with the aid
of GCPs. Likewise, the 3D ground coordinates of the feature points
are derived from the post-seismic stereo pairs. Afterwards, a DEM
is created automatically applying inverse-distance weighting,
which has been shown to be the most accurate interpolator (Su
and Bork, 2006).
