Engine run up
For a engine run you need to be the same amount of time, every time.
If you do a slow run up and take 16 or 18 seconds, you need to pick a time an use that.
This is more difficult than it sounds. So what ever time you use, be within a 3/4 of second of this time.
Most data acquisition equipment can acquire engine run ups at almost any rate.
If there is a power train mode (peak in data ) that shows up, by going slow you can listen to it (Aachen head).
Other wise a 6- 8 sec run up is fine, you will still capture the peak (in the data) but you really won't be able to listen to it.
And Our Product ( Legetolex) gets rid of that peak noise.
So use a slow rate say 12 ,14 or 16 second's in 2nd gear, 6 -10 seconds in 1st gear.
The sweep should sound natural and not rushed.
