Taking into account
these considerations, this work is focused on the treatment and
reuse of wastewater generated by a textile mill specialized in
polyester dyeing. The wastewater was treated by coupling a
homogenization–decantation treatment with two polyvinylidene
difluoride (PVDF) ultrafiltration membranes. The permeate was
reused in new polyester dyeings. Finally, fabrics dyed with the
reused water were evaluated respect to references carried out with
softened tap water.
