Many areas in Thailand have been affected by flooding mostly caused by heavy rain falling during July and August every year. Lower areas like the central plains and southern Thailand are supposed to be more affected.
This phenomenon can bring several problems to people and communities, particularly health problems like outbreaks of diseases such as DHF, foot and mouth disease and leptospirosis.
Because of this situation, people should make preparations to deal with these incidents at any time and try learning how to live with periods of hardship.
