T. harzianum strain (T22) isolates selected for this study were
obtained from NRRL (Agricultural Research Service Culture
Collection) United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), New
Orleans, Louisiana 70179. Cell suspensions of T. harzianum strain
22 were prepared by culturing the fungus in Czapek broth medium
at 25°C for 7 days. The resulting culture was filtered through
cheesecloth to separate mycelial fragments, washed by
centrifugation (10,000 rpm for 15 min)
