Earlier today I watched a lecture by Nouman Ali Khan about not giving up hope. One thing I really enjoyed was that he talked about not giving up hope in yourself (& your relationship with Allah SWT) and not giving up hope in others (in regards to their faith). Both are things that I struggle with. There are times when I know I’ve done something bad and I can’t help but think “there’s no hope for me now… Allah will never forgive me”. There are times when I see my sister, my family, or even my friends doing something they know is bad, but I fail to say anything about it, thinking “they’re not going to listen to me anyways” or “who am I to say anything”. Or even worse, I make a snap judgement, scolding them.
