Arrange students into small groups of 3-4.
Tell students to describe their friends into groups.
Give a time limit for student groups to think the appearance of their friends.
Have students ask their friend by using this sentence: "What do l look like?"
Have other students reply their friends to describe their friends by using 1 sentence per person.
Student A picks up a flashcard and asks “How do you spell [word on flashcard]?” Student B spells the word aloud. Then they switch roles. My students keep a piece of scrap-paper handy to write the word out as they spell it.
