View Edvard Munch’s The Scream, Madonna and Girls on the Bridge, among other works, on the ground floor of the National Gallery.
From April 1st to June 1st the National Gallery’s collection, including the Munch Room, will be closed while the anniversary exhibition "Munch 150" is mounted. However, we wish to make Edvard Munch’s artworks as accessible as possible during the jubilee year. A selection of the most renowned works from the Munch Room will be on display on the ground floor of the National Gallery from 10 April to 19 May. These include public favourites such as The Scream, Madonna, Girls on the Bridge and The Day After, plus a few other motifs.
NB! In the two periods 1 April – 9 April and 20 May – 1 June there will be no access to the National Gallery’s artworks, due to the preparation of "Munch 150".
Between these two closures the National Gallery will be open to the public: From 10 April to 19 May.
