The organization and its members need to see positive examples to overcome the difficulties. Successful pilot cases should be promoted on the company level (i.e. via intranet). Also communication of the renewal should be done well. This way a better and more thorough picture of the process would be given to the employees. The opinions and notions should be better taken into account as well.
