As a lab supervisor, I must be present in the lab with RCC members to supervise the lab, check and approve colors, and give advice to Color Shaders, including urgently resolving any color issues or color development software (AxCS) problems that arise. These issues often require my immediate attention, and being located away from the RCC lab will negatively impact my availability to team members and those under my direct supervision, thereby potentially harming our highly productive, successful, and collaborative team
As regional color coordinator, my responsibility is to assist AP colors labs with colors issues, including resolving color formulas questions, analyzing and fixing software usage issues, and using my experience to repair device and program installation problems. In addition to my work as regional color coordinator and lab supervisor, I work as the Axalta Color System (AxCS) gatekeeper for AP region. My responsibilities and duties as the Axalta Color System (AxCS) gatekeeper – including setting up new tints and new qualities in AxCS program for AP region – are all performed within the RCC lab.
