During the visit in your place, by end of last month, I took some personal note about questions that I would have liked to focus with our technical people on my coming back.
A preliminary answer was given already during the visit; I give here only some further note.
I make here a short Q/A note accordingly:
Question What is the side tolerance (body and neck) on the passage of the classic M150 Bottle?
Answer According to the last mould drawings of the M150 at my hand we have:
- Large tolerance on the body (the tunnel width is 150 mm)
- Due to the neck dimension (30 mm) we would prepare an upper rail having width of 50 mm leaving a side free room of 10 mm on each side.
As you are aware the top protection rail is replaceable for different types of containers; customized rails may be done for other sizes of necks accordingly.
Due to the accurate positioning of bottles on the conveyor given by your pushers (Bottero single or Twin Axis, Emhart Twin Axis) we are not expecting interference problems.
Question What is Revimac experience on square shaped containers as far as coating layers uniformity is concerned?
Answer A certain number of our customers is using our HTH Hoods on Square Shaped containers; we do not have measured differences in the coating thickness on the bottle sides.
Question The speed of container for coating will be 400 bpm and 700 bpm; which HHT models Revimac suggests?
Answer The HTH 140 is enough for the speed of 400 bpm; the HTH 160 should be preferable for 700 bpm.
We will wait for the end of your study on container weight reduction and your subsequent requirements for new proposals; do not hesitate to contact us for any additional info.
